In its latest Asian Development Outlook (ADO) report released on 23 September 2026, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has adjusted its economic growth forecast for Bangladesh, projecting a 4% growth rate for the 2027 fiscal year.
The report highlights that economic activity experienced a slowdown during the final quarter of FY2026. This deceleration was primarily attributed to supply chain disruptions resulting from the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, though the ADB anticipates that the overall impact of these challenges will remain limited.
