Action against wrongdoers is a long-standing BNP culture: Alal

BNP Joint Secretary General Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal has asserted that the party maintains a long-standing culture of holding wrongdoers accountable. Reflecting on the party's history, Alal noted that former president Shaheed Ziaur Rahman had addressed the need to purge corrupt elements and "weeds" from within the organization during a Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal central committee meeting in Dhaka prior to his passing.
