The Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) is set to expand its capacity through a new project valued at Tk850 crore. The initiative includes the construction of 63 additional laboratories.
According to Khandakar Abdul Muktadir, the government also intends to establish laboratories in 10 more districts. Furthermore, an investment of Tk40 crore has been earmarked to strengthen metrology services.
