A total of 17,326 farmers in Chittagong are set to receive smart cards under a new initiative. These cards are designed to serve as both identification and banking debit cards. Currently, authorities are collecting data by selecting one agricultural block from each upazila, with plans to expand the program to all blocks in the future.
