Tk3,482cr Dasherkandi STP operating at 25% capacity due to lack of sewer connections

The Dasherkandi Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), constructed at a cost of Tk3,482 crore, is currently functioning at only 25% of its total capacity. This underutilization is primarily attributed to a lack of adequate sewer connections linking buildings to the municipal main lines. Without these essential connections, the facility remains unable to operate at its full designed potential.
