According to data from the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), market turnover declined by 8% to reach Tk467 crore. This figure marks the lowest level of trading since 16 March. The last instance where DSE turnover remained below the Tk500 crore threshold was recorded on 6 April.

DSE turnover drops below Tk500 crore despite index rise
Despite a rise in the DSEX index, turnover at the Dhaka Stock Exchange has fallen below Tk500 crore for the first time in five months.
