Entrepreneurs have proposed that companies be permitted to allocate more than 70% of their Initial Public Offering (IPO) proceeds toward debt repayment. The suggestion was presented during a stakeholder consultation meeting organized by the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) yesterday to deliberate on potential amendments to existing regulations.
