The government is actively considering the reopening of land ports and border haats to facilitate increased trade with India. Commerce Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir and Indian High Commissioner Dinesh Trivedi held discussions regarding this initiative.
During the meeting, the two officials also addressed the removal of restrictions on yarn imports and explored opportunities to strengthen joint investment between the two nations.
