Government initiative to ensure safe water and sanitation in Barind region

The government has moved to implement a project focused on providing safe water and improving sanitation facilities in the Barind region. The proposal is scheduled to be placed before the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) for approval during its next meeting. The meeting will be held tomorrow at the Bangladesh Secretariat, with ECNEC Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman presiding.
