Government finalising design to upgrade all upazila health complexes to 101 beds

Authorities are currently finalising the design for a project aimed at upgrading all upazila health complexes to 101-bed facilities. As part of a broader strategy to bolster the healthcare sector, the government intends to increase health expenditure to 5% of the GDP over the next five years. Additionally, plans are underway to establish five specialised hospitals for children across divisional cities.
