India commences 654MW power supply to flood-affected Nepal

India has begun exporting 654MW of electricity to Nepal to assist the flood-ravaged nation.

In an effort to support flood-hit Nepal, India has initiated the export of 654MW of electricity.

The supply is being routed through two primary channels: 600MW is being transmitted via the Muzaffarpur-Dhalkebar 400 KV double-circuit line, while an additional 54MW is being delivered through the Tanakpur-Mahendranagar 132 KV single-circuit line.
