According to the SME Foundation, the current landscape for CMSME entrepreneurs remains challenging regarding financial access. Only 9% of these entrepreneurs are able to secure direct bank loans, while an additional 14% rely on microfinance institutions for their funding needs. To address these gaps and encourage greater participation in the export sector, a new policy is being planned.
