Teesta water nears danger level, flood fears in Lalmonirhat

The water level of the Teesta River at the Dalia point has reached 52.14 metres, just one centimetre below the danger mark.

According to the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB), the water level of the Teesta River was recorded at 52.14 metres at the Dalia point as of 9 am today, 22 July. With the danger level set at 52.15 metres, the rising water has sparked concerns regarding potential flooding in the Lalmonirhat region.
