A group of 172 Bangladeshi citizens has returned home from Libya on a voluntary basis. According to an official press release, the repatriation was facilitated by the Libyan government in collaboration with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM).
The process was coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, and the Bangladesh Embassy in Libya.
