According to the Commerce Minister, 48 non-tariff barriers involving the European Union have been successfully cleared. Furthermore, efforts are underway to resolve an additional 13 barriers. The EU has indicated that negotiations regarding a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and investment protection could commence in the near future.
