The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has officially resumed its functions after a period of 166 days without a commission. On 19 August, retired Supreme Court Justice AKM Asaduzzaman assumed office as the new chairman. He was joined by newly appointed commissioners Dr. Jahangir Alam and Dr. Sazzat Hossain Bhuiyan, who formally took charge at the commission's headquarters.
