A merchant ship dating back to the Early Bronze Age has been discovered off the coast of Turkey. Archaeologists estimate the vessel is approximately 4,700 years old, placing it in the same era as the construction of the Great Pyramid of Egypt. This finding surpasses the previous record held by a 4,200-year-old shipwreck discovered near Dokos Island in Greece.
