The government of Bangladesh and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) have launched a three-year project titled 'Promoting a Comprehensive Approach to Climate Mobility in South Asian Countries.' The initiative is funded by the European Union.
The project aims to bolster institutional capacity and governance frameworks regarding climate-related mobility. Furthermore, it seeks to foster regional cooperation to better manage the challenges associated with displacement and migration caused by climate change.
