Bangladesh and Rosatom agree to accelerate Rooppur power plant project

Bangladesh and the Russian state-owned corporation Rosatom have agreed to accelerate the construction process of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant. The Minister of Science and Technology has emphasized the importance of completing the project on schedule. Furthermore, the minister stressed that the highest safety standards must be maintained throughout the construction phase.
