Bangladesh requests Saudi Arabia to maintain 1% Hajj backup housing quota for 2027

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has increased the backup accommodation quota to 2% for the 2027 Hajj, following a 1% rate applied in 2026. In response to this adjustment, Bangladesh has formally requested that the quota be maintained at the previous level of 1%.
