As part of the government's election manifesto, the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) is launching a dedicated transport service for women. The 'Pink Bus' service is scheduled to begin on 18 August. These buses will be operated exclusively by female drivers and conductors to ensure a safe commuting environment for women.
