The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has officially prohibited the appointment of Khairul Bashar, the former Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO) of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), to any official capacity within the capital market. According to the regulatory order, all stock exchanges, market intermediaries, and listed companies under BSEC oversight are strictly instructed not to hire him for any professional role related to the sector.
