BSEC plans to inspect 100 brokerage firms to curb irregularities

The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) is set to inspect 100 brokerage firms as part of its efforts to curb significant irregularities in the capital market. BSEC Chairman Masud Khan disclosed the plan during a recent meeting, noting that the regulator has initiated several reforms to strengthen the oversight of brokerage houses.
