Government plans $300m fast-track project to transform Chattogram airport into regional hub

To enhance passenger and cargo handling capabilities, the government is launching a fast-track project for Shah Amanat International Airport with an estimated budget of $280 to $300 million. The initiative is designed to strengthen connectivity between the airport and key regions, including South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and China.
