Infrastructure works disrupt elephant corridors in Chunati

A critical passage at the Satghar corridor remains obstructed as construction crews work on widening a 900-metre stretch of the Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar highway to four lanes. This infrastructure project has effectively prevented elephants from traversing between their forest habitats on either side of the road for nearly two months.
