Confidence Cement exits battery business with Tk11.34cr stake sale

According to a disclosure filed with the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the board of directors of Confidence Cement has approved the sale and transfer of its entire holding in Confidence Batteries. The company is offloading 1.03 crore ordinary shares, each with a face value of Tk10. The transaction is valued at Tk11.34 crore, marking the company's complete exit from the battery manufacturing sector.
