The Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection conducted simultaneous raids across the country to monitor the LPG and edible oil markets. During these operations, 87 wholesale and retail businesses were fined a total of Tk 7.71 lakh.
A total of 46 monitoring teams from the directorate executed the drives across the Dhaka metropolitan area and 31 other districts to ensure market compliance.
