The Cox's Bazar International Airport is scheduled to be inaugurated this coming October, according to the minister.

The minister announced the upcoming inauguration of the Cox's Bazar International Airport during a courtesy meeting held at the Secretariat in Dhaka. The meeting was attended by members of the Aviation and Tourism Journalists' Forum of Bangladesh (ATJFB).
