Crore-plus bank accounts rise by 5,077 with deposits up by Tk16,000 crore
Data from Bangladesh Bank indicates that both the number of accounts holding over Tk1 crore and the total deposits in these accounts increased by the end of June.

According to data released by Bangladesh Bank, the number of bank accounts holding more than Tk1 crore has increased by 5,077. By the end of June, total deposits in these accounts reached Tk8.75 lakh crore, marking a rise from the Tk8.59 lakh crore recorded at the end of March. This represents an increase of Tk16,000 crore in deposits within the three-month period.
