Customs seizes 9 truckloads of duty-free garment raw materials in Dhaka

Authorities have seized nine truckloads of garment raw materials that were allegedly brought in under duty-free facilities. According to officials from the National Board of Revenue (NBR), duplex board imported for commercial purposes, rather than for export, is subject to duties and taxes amounting to approximately 46%.
