Market prices for vegetables and fish in Dhaka have seen a decline, attributed to the arrival of early winter produce and reduced consumer demand during the Durga Puja holidays. Despite this relief, other essential items remain costly. According to TBS Bangladesh, chicken prices continue to stay high, while eggs are currently retailing at Tk150 per dozen.
