A modernization project for Eastern Refinery has been initiated, aiming to triple its current refining capacity to 4.5 million tonnes. The signing ceremony for the project was attended by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and IsDB Group Chairman Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser.
