During a courtesy meeting held at his office in the Secretariat, the Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives (LGRD) discussed the importance of strengthening local governance. He stated that an effective local government framework is vital to ensure that essential services reach the doorsteps of the people. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Switzerland to Bangladesh, Reto Renggli.
