Endangered capped leaf monkey dies after road accident in Sreemangal

An endangered capped leaf monkey succumbed to its injuries after being struck by a CNG-run autorickshaw in Sreemangal. Although the driver of the vehicle attempted to rescue the animal by transporting it to a veterinary hospital for urgent care, the monkey could not be saved and later died during treatment.
