Flood destroys Tk140.82cr worth of vegetables, prices surge in Ctg

The supply of vegetables has dropped significantly following severe flooding in production regions, leading to a price hike of Tk20 to Tk50 for almost all varieties in Chattogram markets. This surge has placed additional financial pressure on low- and middle-income households. According to reports, the floods have resulted in the destruction of vegetables worth Tk140.82 crore.
