Forward-booking importers gain advantage as dollar rate climbs

According to treasury officials at various commercial banks, the dollar exchange rate has increased to Tk123.50, up from Tk122 just ten days ago. This rise in the exchange rate has provided a financial advantage to businesses that had previously hedged their future payments through forward booking.
