Government approves Tk16,089cr for refined fuel imports
The government has approved Tk16,089 crore for the import of refined fuel to meet domestic demand during the first half of the current fiscal year.

To address domestic energy requirements for the first half of the fiscal year, the government has sanctioned the import of refined fuel worth Tk16,089 crore.
The procurement will be conducted through government-to-government (G2G) agreements with six state-owned international suppliers.
