Government approves Teesta University in northern Bangladesh

The government has officially approved the establishment of Teesta University in the northern region of Bangladesh. According to the University Grants Commission (UGC), the new institution is expected to expand access to quality higher education, bolster research initiatives, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the area.
