High-tech parks in Bangladesh fail to meet investment and job targets

Between 2009 and 2023, Bangladesh established 39 High-Tech and Software Technology Parks. These projects were initiated under the premise that physical infrastructure alone would catalyze a technology boom and attract significant investment. However, experts have observed that these facilities have failed to deliver the expected outcomes regarding investment, job creation, and the growth of technology-based businesses.
