Illegal auto-rickshaw charging causes Tk4,000cr annual revenue loss

According to the home minister, Bangladesh currently operates between 50 and 80 lakh electric three-wheelers. However, the country has only about 3,300 authorised charging stations. This widespread use of illegal charging points is resulting in an annual revenue loss of approximately Tk4,000 crore.
