Over a span of 20 days, customers at Sammilito Islami Bank have submitted applications to withdraw Tk6,975 crore. To date, the bank has successfully disbursed Tk3,245 crore against these requests. During this same period, the bank recorded the opening of 32,074 new accounts, which contributed an additional Tk378 crore in fresh deposits.
