Mustafizur Rahman, a distinguished fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), has stated that Bangladesh should view its graduation from the Least Developed Country (LDC) status as an opportunity for structural transformation, rather than focusing solely on extending existing trade benefits.
Regarding the diversification of exports, he suggested that the country must explore opportunities beyond the ready-made garment (RMG) sector. Furthermore, he highlighted the necessity of diversifying product lines within the garment industry itself to ensure sustainable growth.
