State Minister Iqbal Hasan Mahmud stated today that the government is placing a high priority on renewable energy sources. The initiative aims to mitigate the ongoing energy crisis and reduce the strain on the nation's foreign exchange reserves. In line with this, the minister has urged non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to expand net metering systems to further promote rooftop solar energy adoption.
