The Ministry of Education has reached out to the University Grants Commission (UGC) seeking recommendations for the formation of a high-powered investigation or advisory committee. This initiative aims to resolve the ongoing stalemate at the Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (Cuet).
The move follows a formal decision reached during the 145th emergency syndicate meeting of the university held last Friday, where the proposal to establish such a committee was first recommended.
