NBR launches online tax return filing for FY27 with 5% rebate
The NBR has opened the online income tax return filing system for the 2026-27 tax year, offering a 5% rebate for early submissions.

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has officially commenced the online income tax return filing service for the 2026-27 tax year. Individual taxpayers who complete their filings between July and September will be eligible for a 5% incentive on their net payable tax. The NBR has specified that this rebate is capped at a maximum of Tk25,000.
