A newly established Roads and Highways Department (RHD) zone will now manage road development and administrative operations for Bogura, Gaibandha, Joypurhat, Naogaon, and Sirajganj. This initiative aims to decentralize decision-making and improve infrastructure management for these five districts, effectively ending the need to rely on the Rangpur zone.
