The Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation has decided to transition its 53 hotels, restaurants, and bars to a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, citing weak operational performance. This strategic shift aims to improve the management and efficiency of these state-owned assets.
As part of a new master plan, the 130-acre Hotel Shaibal in Cox’s Bazar will serve as the pilot project. The site is slated to be developed into an integrated tourism complex.
