Primary teachers push for 11th-grade pay scale and simplified transfers

Primary school teachers are set to submit a memorandum to the prime minister through deputy commissioners across the country on 1 October. The move is aimed at pressing for the implementation of their nine-point list of demands. Key among these requests are the upgrading of their pay scale to the 11th grade and the simplification of existing teacher transfer regulations.
