Qatar secures US natural gas supply amid regional conflict
QatarEnergy has entered a long-term agreement to purchase US LNG as regional tensions disrupt exports.

In response to disruptions in LNG exports caused by the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Qatar has turned to the United States for natural gas supplies. Under the terms of the agreement, QatarEnergy is set to procure 4 million metric tonnes of LNG annually from the US through 2054.
