Sammilito Islami Bank has initiated its deposit repayment process, with customers withdrawing a total of Tk250 crore so far. This move follows the Bangladesh Bank's decision on 6 September to provide the financial institution with Tk5,000 crore to address the withdrawal demands of its depositors.
